The Alpine region is a cycling hotspot that draws mountain, road, and both serious and hobby cyclists from around Australia. Bright and surrounds boasts over 100kms of the off-road rail-trail that is the perfect way to explore the spectacular scenery of North East Victoria. The rail-trail passes alongside many towns, and some amazing country pubs and wineries.

Bright is home to the new HERO mountain bike trail which begins at the top of Mystic Mountain and is located in the famous Mystic Park Mountain Bike Park. If mountain biking is your thing, there are hundreds of mountain bike trails in and around Bright and they’re a great way to explore the area. A variety of bicycles can be hired in Bright.

Tour of Bright|  The Bright Brewery Tour of Bright is one of the most fiercely contested club races on the VRS Road Series calendar and attracts riders and spectators from around the world.

Alfred 6 hour charity bike race| A major fundraising event for The Alfred Hospital with 6 hours, 3 hours, team and child mountain bike events.

Audax Alpine Classic| A bike race with a touch of France. Run in conjunction with the Bonjour Bright Festival, the road cycling event has 6 races of varying lengths from 60kms to 320kms.
